Charity Raffle in aid of MacMillan Nurses and Maggie's Centres
Textile artist, Jan Kilpatrick will be opening up her studio in Elphin on Sunday 25 March and holding a raffle in aid of MacMillan Nurses and Maggie's Centres. There will be three raffles - each one giving you the opportunity to own an original art work for only £5! I am delighted to be donating my painting of Cul Mor (see above), alongside Jan who will be donating a piece of work and also, illustrator and mural artist Chelsea Frew. To purchase a ticket for this raffle please click on this link. You can also buy tickets locally from Ceard in Ullapool, Elphin Tearooms, from Jan's studio on the day and from my mum in Achiltibuie! These will be available from 10 March until the raffle draw which takes place at Jan's studio on Sunday 25 March at 3pm. The results will be posted on-line later that day.Jan wrote the lyrics to three of the songs on my Summer Isles album and it is so great to continue to develop this collaboration. We are currently working on an exhibition at The Ceilidh Place in August this year and we will be teaming up with illustrator and mural artist, Chelsea Frew for an exhibition at Inverewe Gardens in August 2019.Please do take a £5 chance to own some original art and support a good cause at the same time.
